Only follow this guide if you have been requested by Next Century Support to do so
Follow these steps:
1. Download Next Century Teamviewer Host, when prompted with the message below, click on Allow
NOTE: It is best to ignore 'Loading TeamViewer now...' and 'Not loaded yet? Try again'
2. If using Safari, you should see a Install TeamViewerHost-xxxxxxxxxx.dmg file download in Downloads on your software bar which you can locate in the Downloads folder with Finder.
3. Double click on the file to start the installation process and you will see TeamViewer Host Installer come up, select Install TeamViewerHost to proceed.
4. Select Open when prompted 'Are you sure you want to open it' to proceed.
5. Tick 'I accept the EULA (End User Licence Agreement) and DPA (Data Processing Agreement) and then select Continue.
NOTE: If you want to find out more about EULA or DPA, click on the Show EULA & Show DPA links.
6. You will see TeamViewer Host Introduction, select Continue
7. On the Installation Type, select Install
8. You will then be prompted for your Apple login password, type it in then select Install Software
9. You have now completed the main install and should see The installation was successful, select Close.
You could also see these notifications about Teamviewer Host which you can close.
10. You will now see a box come up called Initial Setup, select Continue.
11. You will be prompted next to set a Personal Password (for unattended access), type in the password in both boxes, then select Continue.
You will need to provide this password to me to allow me remote access to your Apple Computer with Teamviewer Host.
12. The Initial Setup is now complete, select Finish.
13. You will then receive a prompt that your device will be accessible at any time by Next Century Support, select OK
14. Lastly, you see Review System Access which you will need to enable Screen Recording, Accessibility and Full Disk Access for Teamviewer Host to function fully.
Follow the prompts to until all are enabled, if at anytime you lose the Review System Access box, select Teamviewer on the top bar and then select Check system access
Note: I found enabling Full Disk Access that I had to click on the + symbol, then select Applications and locate Teamviewer Host.
15. Once all are allowed, it should look like this:
You have successfully installed and configured Teamviewer Host.
